  • SumTech signs contract with Daicel Safety Systems to develop custom applications in the .NET environment. The contract consists of 3 spearate projects. The first project consists of interfacing with 4 barcode scanners and 2 scales, via serial ports, and looking up and writing to Excel Spreadsheets the weights of a specific barcode/part number. The second project consists of interfacing with one scanner and one scale, and looking up and writing to Excel Spreadsheets the weights of a specific barcode/part number. The third project consists of interfacing with one scanner and an Ulvac Heliot system. The Heliot will be "polled" from a PC and will send back a reading which will then be recorded to Excel Spreadsheets.
